Throwing Crumbs to the LJ

I happened to link to my LJ tonight and noticed that it’s been just a few months shy of a year since I last posted there.

Uhm…oops.

I never intended it to compete with this one, but by any standard of regular blogging, that’s still pathetic.  So I decided to take pity on the poor thing and posted a blog about my wotf critique.  Of course, not much, as I don’t feel inclined to make the critique a public matter, but the mishap on the title is amusing.  Very amusing, since I threw away my list of backup/alternate titles and now must start from scratch in re-naming the silly story.

    Uh, you may want to run the temporary titles through Google first. Here’s what came back on “Embers of Honor”:

    “‘Legion’ is an alliance that has been formed by Embers of Honour, Arctic Vikings and Rage Driven Pacifists. The purpose of the allegiance is to enable us to tackle larger raids than any of the guilds could do alone. At least 1 raid takes place each day (frequently more) with regular runs on ZG and MC. Details of the Legion chat channels, raid times, etc. will be given after you join the guild.”

    These guys are from World of Warcraft, the role playing game people. So, if your use “Embers of Honor”, you could wind up with a bunch of guys dressed like KISS carrying swords and maces on your deck during hamburger time…

    Hmm, hmm…now I have to consider the pros and cons of seriously scaring my neighbors vs. an empty fridge and (possibly) a trashed house…
