Over this spring break, I need to:

• Finalize the rules of magic for 13 Demon Days
• Write the new and improved outline
• Implement Critiques on the Query
• Finish re-writes on the first five chapters

Of course, I can’t neglect my families plans to:

• Get the garden beds filled with soil
• Scrub down the turkey coop
• Chick-proof the chicken coop
• Plant the spring bulbs

Since the weather looks gorgeous and life needs a little spunk, I’d also love to:

• Build our first bonfire of the spring
• Make s’mores
• Hike Little River
• Dye easter eggs
• Take the kids bowling (hey, it might rain!)

Of course, what I may end up doing is swatting lots of mosquitos while I attempt to staple chicken wire to a board and simultaneously write an outline in my head!  Let’s hope at least I won’t get a championship score in mosquito swatting.
