I know everyone else is posting pics of the snow, but I’ve been too busy dealing with the after effects of our basement flood from almost a week ago.

Here’s the laundry, or most of it:

 

And here are the books that now reside on our kitchen table.  They wave their pages gently in the breeze, and ask if this spa comes with the food bath.  Most annoying!

This last pic is me, in an old fashioned phone booth at the Cape Fear Museum in Wilmington.  I’ve recieved the red alert that our home is in danger, but instead of morphing into Super Woman and coming to the rescue, I’m chatting on the phone!

Perhaps tomorrow I’ll be up for the snow, but right now it’s time to sit in front of the fire and make sure I have no flooding-induced webbing growing between my toes.
