According to the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco, people (like myself) born in the year of the dragon are:
- healthy, energetic, excitable, short-tempered, and stubborn. (okay, all true so far)Â
- They are also honest, sensitive, brave, and they inspire confidence and trust. (hmmm . . . hoping so)
- Dragon people are the most eccentric of any in the eastern zodiac. (cool!)
- They neither borrow money nor make flowery speeches, but they tend to be soft-hearted which sometimes gives others an advantage over them. (Not true–I swear it’s not)
- They are compatible with Rats, Snakes, Monkeys, and Roosters. (Phew, good thing my dh was born in a rat year–although I swear he doesn’t have the negative qualities).
That was two ‘I swear’ in one post. Perhaps the lady doth protest too much?Â
At least being a dragon is interesting, and compatible with my life approach. I also seem to have an affinity for reptilian creatures . . . my office is full of not only dragon sculptuary, but frogs, lizards, and turtles, too.
