Republican, Democrat, Independent, undecided, rabidly sure, die-hard party loyalist–is anybody else sick to death of this election? I never answer the phone anymore without attempting to use my nonexistent psychic powers to tell if this is someone calling about chickens, or a recording blasting me with political speak. Even our family discussions seem to be politics first and real life second.
Well, here’s something a little lighthearted to ease my mounting headache, and maybe yours, too. Pics are from Hillsborough’s very own Handmade Parade, and in no way reflect on the anonymous makers of the puppets, yadda yadda, etc., you get it. ;D
I give you…
The voter who’s terribly concerned they may have shown up for the wrong event.
The voter who isn’t the least concerned and trusts that both candidates are always forthright statesmen who have no personal bias.
The voter who’s bought and paid for their candidate.
The wise voter who’s decided they’ll keep their friends close, and their political leaning so close their friends can’t find it.
The voter who’s made their choice, and is now dashing for the finish line in the hope they can reach it before the candidate disappoints them again.
And lastly, the voter who sat down to watch the debates, and while thus civically occupied discovered that someone had walked off with their house. Now they’re stuck in a politcal parade and they can’t get out!
I think we can all sympathize. 😀
