What Time Is It When…

A tree falls on your fence?

Tree-that-smashed-the-fence

No glib answers, now! In your calculations, please take into account that the wind-speed last night was no more than 5-10 mph, although there was up to an inch of rain. Also, that no one checked the back pasture fence (whereon this tree resides) yesterday, so we have no way of knowing whether the tree fell Saturday night or Sunday night. However, it did not fall during the day ’cause we are none of us that hard of hearing!

Now, your answers please?

it’s rained a lot there, right? if the ground is soaked and the roots aren’t super deep the tree gets tired and decides to lay down for a wee nap. nuff said.

That’s true, any number of fallen trees are worth all the lovely woods still standing! Our home is my writing haven. 🙂
