On the Road Again

Tomorrow we’re heading off again–just three weeks after the last trip.  For business travelers who fly every other week that doesn’t sound like much, but when you realize that a trip for the family means me packing up for four people, two of which are kids, and a complex trip involving dressy occasions and time spent in two or three states–yeah, it can be tiring.

The good news is that packing is still fresh in my mind.  All the needed changes of clothes, which outfits and accessories will work, all that.  I don’t have to do mental math in figuring out who gets what suitcase and how to fit it all in.

The bad news is that certain messes–like the orange triaminic that spilled inside the medicine bag, last trip–are still not cleaned up.  So I’ve got to take care of post-trip remains, then turn around and pack it all up.

Sigh.

At least this time I should have internet throughout.  But if I disappear for a day or two, just draw a mental picture of me standing in line somewhere with a bored look on my face and chances are you’ll have it right.
