Have I mentioned I’m a student?  Probably not.  And the reason, if you must know, is that I forget between times that I’m supposed to be in school.

See, I take independent study online classes, and have a year to complete them from the date I pay for the course.  This means that I work very hard – in spurts.  Last spring I had a good sprint going . . . but it pittered out before I had quite finished the course.  Now I’m left with a history class in which all I have to finish is the historical essay and the comprehensive final – no problem, aside from the fact that I’ve had months to forget the name of the course and every historical fact there-in.

So maybe I’ll post this essay after it’s graded.  I’ll have to see if that would set off any fire alarms anywhere.  It would be nice to feel like I got some writing credit, vs. class credit which never has the same satisfaction, out of the typing time.
