I took the ferrets to the vet for a shot update, and it turns out the two youngest have picked up some pudge. So the vet suggested I keep their food out of their cage except for established feeding times…but she also acknowledged that their sister is at her ideal weight and shouldn’t lose anything.
They all stay in the same cage.
Umm…their could be a problem here. Especially given that when their out (they roam the house for 4-5 hours each day), Panda, (the skinny one) is the most active, and no doubt burning the most energy.
Anybody know of a ferret treadmill, or maybe an exercise bike rebuilt for carpet sharks?
