I’m sure I’m not alone in my thirst for enlightenment as to how much money writers really make. You know, not the ones who only write ‘for themselves’, or come out with a book every six years, and not the Rowlings either, but the average writer of reasonable success.
Thanks to Jordan for this info and link to Tobias Buckell’s Author Advance Survey, I now feel better informed.
Of course, what I’d also like to see is a similar break down of what these authors make over the course of a year from their royalties. Just to put another piece in the picture.
