I had scheduled two mid-terms and a final for today, and since I knew most of it was essays I allowed a lot of time. When I got down there (I drive to a university that proctors my exams) I took the first test with 30 min. to spare. The next test also finished at just under the time. I gave myself a lunchbreak, since the big final was yet to come, and came back with three hours to take the test.
One hour and fifteen minutes later I turned in the test, and went home almost two hours earlier than I expected. Of course, I may be in for a rude shock when the grades show up, but honestly, I think I did well on them all. Are tests just getting easier? Is that the real point of a college degree–to get so good at tests that they have to kick you out?  It seems a shame, to let newly-forged skills go to waste…maybe there’s someone hiring professional test takers?
