A Twist of Perspective

A month or two ago I took a quick look online to see what prices I could find for an upcoming trip, and choked.  Tickets I used to get in the $200 dollar range were upwards of $400 with less than ideal departure times. Since we didn’t know exactly when we’d be flying I set the search aside.

On Writing Fantasy

I just finished the final for my Christian Fantasy class, which was split about 70/30 Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.  I found the class highly enjoyable–after all, a large portion of the homework was re-reading the Rings books–but I also found that taking the class bolstered my confidence in the worth of fantasy as a genre.
