According to my blog stats this is my two hundredth blog–either that or my two hundredth and tenth, it doesn’t seem sure which. At any rate, I thought two hundred deserved some kind of notice.  Apparently I passed up one hundred without noting it flying by.  A good omen, that.  So here’s to the blogging

Fun Reading vs. Editing

I’ve noticed that I have a hard time editing a story if I’m enjoying it.  I’ve even caught myself referring to stories as ‘fun’ reads, as separate from material I’m editing, but often they can be of comparable skill and even by the same author, so the distinction must be in my approach.
