Okay, so I’m not that happy about.  But neither am I sad. 

Warrior’s Flame was rejected by F&SF.  The letter came in the mail today, but I didn’t get it ’til tonight ’cause it’s been that kind of day.  But it was polite and I was expecting it, so I’m not too broken up about it. 

Tonight I’ll start the rewrite, and try to finish it tomorrow.  After both the kids’ soccer games, before the festival, in and around the day’s To Do list, and before my company arrives. 

When I’ve trimmed a few hundred words I’ll send it out to Realms of Fantasy to serve time in their slush pile.
