We seem to be having bathroom difficulties lately.  Namely, the toilets have shifted anywhere from three feet to six inches from where they’re supposed to be.

And the really odd thing is that only the kids have noticed.

First our daughter (the four-year old) noticed this shift when she ran for the bathroom but found her usual sprint didn’t quite get her there.  And it didn’t the next day, either.

Now our son has noticed.  When he took sick today he played it cool and headed for the bathroom.  He timed his walk very carefully so the puke wouldn’t come until he reached the toilet.  Unfortunately, he didn’t account for the wandering nature of our toilets and his vomit missed by almost a foot.  So instead of being nicely contained in the commode it splattered in sixteen direction and twelve previously uncharted dimensions.

Bummer.

Let’s hope the kids and the toilets locate one another soon.  All this scrubbing and cleaning is hard on the bathroom floors.
