I can’t type those words without hearing, in my mind, the throaty voice of our hand-grabbing candy dish.  Ah, the joys of mis-spent money.

The family had a good crop of decorated pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns this year.  Below you see my free-hand cat, and our son’s carefully carved ‘BSA is Cool’.  The latter should be submitted to Boy’s Life, me thinks.

  

And these lovely creations were a collaboration between our daughter and I.  Pikachu and Bob the Tomato, hanging out on the deck so they can show off for early trick-or-treaters.

I’m also posting my pirate costume, aka Keela the Meru.  This is in lieu of my actually dressing up this year.  After all, dressing up three times during WorldCon ought to count for something!
