Me and the new car have been running around a lot, so I’m getting a pretty good feel for how the car runs. Nice pick up, steering is touchier than our other car, brights are great for showing the sides of the road where deer hide.
But this pesky yellow dot came on yesterday, and since the car (used) didn’t come with an owners manual, I thought I’d have to search around online to figure out what was the matter. Red’s the warning color, not yellow, so I was just going to get around to it when I had some free time. Whenever that was.
Still, the fact that I didn’t know what it was for kept bugging me, so today I showed it to my husband. He looked at the dash, looked at me, and shook his head.
“Hon, that’s the gas light. You’re on empty.”
Oh. Right.
It’s always best to get these pesky lights checked out.
