Welcome

As the designated hostess of the internet I am delighted to welcome Pat Esden online.  Of course she’s been around for awhile, and no doubt has a long list of online friends, but she’s been delinquent in starting a blog.  But now she’s finally relented, so welcome, Patty! I’ll also just point you to another new link in my blogroll.

Fatty Ferrets

I took the ferrets to the vet for a shot update, and it turns out the two youngest have picked up some pudge.  So the vet suggested I keep their food out of their cage except for established feeding times…but she also acknowledged that their sister is at her ideal weight and shouldn’t lose anything.

In a Frenzy

Hummingbird Wars

Our two hummingbird feeders have attracted two hummingbirds so far this spring.  As the feeders are quite a ways apart, one might think that this would mean we’d have one hummingbird at each feeder, right? Wrong! What we have is non-stop aerial battles over territory.  I sometimes wonder if any actual drinking gets done, as no

New Live Journal

I’ve been threatening to start a LJ, mostly so I can sign in when making comments on friends’ journals, and I’ve finally done it. You can visit Pen and Ink Confessions for the occasional post that just doesn’t fit my mood over here.
