Fatty Ferrets

I took the ferrets to the vet for a shot update, and it turns out the two youngest have picked up some pudge.  So the vet suggested I keep their food out of their cage except for established feeding times…but she also acknowledged that their sister is at her ideal weight and shouldn’t lose anything.

In a Frenzy

I’ve been quiet on the blog front, I know, but I’ve been good about writing!  My gladiator story has given me no end of trouble over the last months, but just recently I had a brain-burst and figured out what it needed. I’ve since finished the first draft, done an intensive critique, and written in

Newsy New Links

Adding a couple new links to the blog roll, both guys that I would love to sit down with at a con. 🙂 David Langford, author of The End of Harry Potter? and blogger extraordinaire. My back pain has become one of the few constants in my life, aside from my family and weeds in my garden.  But like a weedy garden left neglected, of late it’s gotten worse, truly getting in the way of my living life.   So I finally broke down and went to see the recommended chiropractor. He took

The TV Dilemma

As a child I had very little exposure to TV, although I am of a generation that normally watches quite a bit.  As an adult, I still don’t watch much or take in much screen time aside from my computer, and I’ve always kept my kids to a minimum of screen time. Other parents moaned over what to
